Principal's Message

Dear Golden Springs Families and Community,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Golden Springs Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. My name is Michelle Tedesco, and I am honored to join this incredible school community.

This year marks my 28th year in education, and throughout my career I have had the privilege of serving students, families, and staff in a variety of educational roles. Most recently, I served as the proud principal of Armstrong Elementary School, where I worked alongside an outstanding team to foster student achievement, build strong relationships, and create a positive school culture. I am excited to bring those experiences to Golden Springs and partner with each of you as we continue to build a school where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed.

Welcome to Golden Springs Elementary School, a place where we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and to work alongside our dedicated students, families, staff, and community partners in creating meaningful opportunities for every learner.

Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is "One School With Many Superheroes!" This theme celebrates the unique strengths, talents, and gifts that each member of our school community brings every day. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, at home, or throughout our community, we all have the ability to make a positive difference. Together, we will build a culture where kindness, perseverance, collaboration, and respect empower every student to discover the superhero within themselves.

I believe that strong schools are built on meaningful relationships, open communication, and shared responsibility. I look forward to getting to know each of our students and families, celebrating accomplishments together, and working collaboratively to ensure every child reaches their highest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Communication and partnership are at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the year, we will share important information, celebrations, learning opportunities, and school updates through ParentSquare, our school website, and our social media platforms. Staying connected is one of the best ways to remain informed, celebrate the accomplishments of our Cougars, and stay engaged with the many exciting things happening throughout our school community.
