Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to be actively engaged in our school. There are many opportunities for parent involvement including:
- Serving on a parent committee such as School Site Council (SSC), English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC) or School Advisory Council (SAC)
- Joining the PTO and participating in special events and fundraisers
- Volunteering to help in the classroom, office, or on field trips
- Attending events such as Back to School Night, Family Nights, and Open House
- Making donations to help with the costs of some activities and field trips
We value the support of our parents at school and at home. In order to ensure your child is successful in school, please assure they:
- Attend school daily and on time
- Eat a nutritious breakfast (breakfast is served at school at no cost every morning, 7:30-7:50 am)
- Complete their homework and read at home every night
- Come to school prepared to learn with a fully charged Chromebook and supplies needed
