Opportunities and Activities

Golden Springs offers many opportunities for students to enrich their education.

1.)  Student Council - Students are elected by their classmates to participate in student council.  This is an opportunity for students to give input and share ideas.

2.)  Choir - Students in grades 4-6 may participate in our school choir.  All students in these grades are welcome to be in our choir which performs several times for our school.

3.)  Computer Science - Students engage in robotics and coding lessons to create.

4.)  Conga Kids - Students in fifth grade learn many styles of dancing and perform for our school and district.

5.)  PBIS Squad - Students assist in planning and implementing PBIS activities and events.

6.)  Art lessons - Students participate in lessons on drawing and painting through the dA Center for the Arts.  

8.)  Field Trips - Classes visit a variety of places to extend their learning beyond school.

9.)  Afterschool Tutoring - Tutoring is provided afterschool for students who are referred to receive additional help.

10.)  Instrumental Music for grades 4-6

11.)  Music for grades K-3
